We have terrific dental staff who will be there to answer your treatment questions or if you need an extra hand to hold. Many of our staff are bilingual and speak fluent Spanish. They all are dedicated to making your dental experience the best appointment in a dental office you have had. Our dental hygienists in our practice are highly trained professionals who really care about your overall dental health. OUR DENTISTS
Dr. Drew Cantwell
​
Dr. Andrew Cantwell was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. He then attended The Ohio State University for dental school, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) graduating with honors. He strives to make each dental visit low stress and an overall pleasant experience. He understands that for some the dental office brings anxiety and strives to put the patient’s needs first to allow for a comfortable experience. Dr. Cantwell is dedicated in continuing his studies of the profession to ensure each patient is receiving the best, evidence-based dentistry available. Professional membership includes the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Cantwell is married and recently welcomed their first daughter Reese this past year. Outside of the dental office, he enjoys basketball, snowboarding, golf and being his own film critic.
Dr. Nick Cantwell
​
Dr. Nick Cantwell grew up in West Jordan, UT. After graduating from Copper Hills High School and the University of Utah, he attended The Ohio State University Dental School where he received his degree in dental surgery. He returned to Utah to serve the dental needs in a community close to where he grew up. Dr. Cantwell is an active member of both the American Dental Association as well as the Utah Dental Association, and considers it a privilege to not only care for his patients dental needs, but to develop lasting friendships with them. Dr. Cantwell loves to play sports, travel, and spend time with his family when he is away from the office.

Dr. Devin Cantwell
​
Dr. Devin Cantwell was born and raised in Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He then attended Midwestern University where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Dr. Cantwell is dedicated to helping others and providing the best dental care possible for his patients. He loves to work with children and always tries to make every visit comfortable and stress free. He not only strives to give his patients the best dental care possible, but also to establish long lasting friendships with them. Dr. Cantwell continues his education in the field of dentistry monthly. He is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Utah Dental Association.
Dr. Cantwell and his wife have 3 children. When not in the office, he enjoys sports, traveling, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
OUR STAFF
Vonda
​
Vonda works in the front office and has been in the dental field since 1998, and has been a valuable part of West 56th Dental since 2003. During her many years in the front office she has become an expert in helping patients understand and maximize their insurance benefits. Patients with ever-changing insurance coverage are fortunate to have Vonda as their advocate. She reviews treatment plans and financing options for all our patients. She really enjoys helping others work towards a better smile and getting to know the many people she works with on a daily basis.
She is married to a wonderful husband, has three great children, and a beautiful granddaughter. She loves spending time with family and playing with her granddaughter. Vonda enjoys shopping and crocheting dresses in her free time.

Analey
​
Analey has been part of the West 56th Dental team since 2003. She took a dental assisting class in high school just to see how it was and ended up loving dentistry. She feels very lucky to have found Dr. Bowman to further her training. Analey decided to broaden her dental education, so she attended and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Salt Lake Community College in the spring of 2012. She is very excited about her new profession and looks forward to many years of serving patients in an effort to help them with their overall health. She prides herself in providing excellent patient care with a caring and sensitive attitude. She loves being able to help others feel better and more confident when it comes to their smiles.
She enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially camping and fishing. She loves to travel and see new places and recently returned from serving an LDS mission in Uruguay. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys speaking it with all those who know it as well. She hopes to one day be able to go back to South America to visit more places and possibly do some volunteer dentistry.
